ZPanel is a free web hosting control panel which helps tremendously in administrating a server. This panel can turn a home or professional server into a fully fledged, easy to use and manage web hosting server.<\/p>\n

Using a control panel to administer a server is recommended for everybody that has no experience with the Linux CLI. You can manage databases, domains, FTP accounts etc… with a few clicks from the ZPanel web interface.<\/p>\n

REQUIREMENTS<\/strong><\/p>\n

We will be using our SSD 1\u00a0<\/span>Linux VPS<\/a>\u00a0<\/span>Hosting plan for this tutorial.<\/p>\n

UPDATE THE SYSTEM<\/strong><\/p>\n

Log in to your Linux VPS as user root and first of all make sure that all packages are up to date:<\/p>\n

# yum -y update<\/pre>\n
INSTALL ZPANEL<\/strong><\/p>\n
We will download the ZPanel install script in the \/opt directory. You are free to download the script in a directory of your choise.<\/p>\n
# cd \/opt<\/pre>\n
Let’s install some needed packages:<\/p>\n
# yum install wget kernel-headers<\/pre>\n
Download the install script:<\/p>\n
# wget https:\/\/raw.github.com\/zpanel\/installers\/master\/install\/CentOS-6_4\/10_1_1.sh<\/pre>\n
Make the script executable:<\/p>\n
# chmod +x 10_1_1.sh<\/pre>\n
Run it with the following command after which the ZPanel installation will begin.<\/p>\n
# .\/10_1_1.sh<\/pre>\n
The below content means that the installation is started.<\/p>\n
