Update your server<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>The next step, after successfully connecting to your server, is to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rosehosting.com\/blog\/update-the-software-on-linux\/\">update your server<\/a>. On CentOS you can do this with the following command:<\/p>\n<pre>yum update<\/pre>\n<p>This will update the already installed packages on your system and install the latest security updates.<br \/>\nYou should regularly update your server.
