Download Drupal<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Next, you need to download Drupal from the <a title=\"Drupal download\" href=\"https:\/\/www.drupal.org\/download\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">official web site<\/a>.\u00a0The latest stable release is 7.32 so you can download it with the following command:<\/p>\n<pre>##\u00a0wget http:\/\/ftp.drupal.org\/files\/projects\/drupal-7.32.tar.gz<\/pre>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"4-Unpack-the-Drupal-archive\"><\/span>4. Log in to your MariaDB as root<\/p>\n<pre>## mysql -u root -p<\/pre>\n<p>and enter the following commands:<\/p>\n<pre>## create database DrupalDB;\n## grant all on DrupalDB.* to Drupal_user@localhost identified by \"sEcReT_pASsWoRd\";\n## exit<\/pre>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"7-Configure-web-server\"><\/span>7. Configure web server<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>It is time to configure the web server so you can access the Drupal directory on your server using your domain name.<\/p>\n<p>Navigate to \/etc\/nginx\/conf.d with the command:<\/p>\n<pre>## cd \/etc\/nginx\/conf.d<\/pre>\n<p>and create file drupal.conf:<\/p>\n<pre>## nano drupal.conf<\/pre>\n<p>with the following content:<\/p>\n<pre>server {\n    server_name domain.com;\n    listen 80;\n    root \/var\/www\/html\/drupal;\n    access_log \/var\/log\/nginx\/domain.com-access.log;\n    error_log \/var\/log\/nginx\/domain.com-error.log;\n    index index.php;\n\n    location \/ {\n        try_files  $uri $uri\/ \/index.php?$args;\n    }\n\n    location ~* \\.(jpg|jpeg|gif|css|png|js|ico|html)$ {\n        access_log off;\n        expires max;\n    }\n    location ~ \/\\.ht {\n        deny  all;\n    }\n    location ~ \\.php {\n        try_files $uri = 404;\n        fastcgi_pass 127.0.0.1:9000;\n        fastcgi_index index.php;\n        include \/etc\/nginx\/fastcgi_params;\n        fastcgi_param SCRIPT_FILENAME $document_root$fastcgi_script_name;\n    }\n}<\/pre>\n<p>Do not forget to replace domain.com with your domain name.<\/p>\n<p>8. Restart the web server<\/p>\n<p>Now, restart your Nginx web server:<\/p>\n<pre>systemctl restart nginx<\/pre>\n<p>That&#8217;s it.
