Gollum is a simple open source wiki system built on top of Git. A Gollum Wiki is a git repository with pages organized into directories any way you choose. Install Ruby using RVM<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>The following commands are run as gollum user.<\/p>\n<pre>[gollum]# cd\r\n[gollum]# curl -sSL https:\/\/rvm.io\/mpapis.asc | gpg --import -\r\n[gollum]# curl -sSL https:\/\/get.rvm.io | bash -s stable --ruby<\/pre>\n<p>To start using RVM run the following command:<\/p>\n<pre>[gollum]# source ~\/.rvm\/scripts\/rvm<\/pre>\n<p>The current stable version of Ruby is version 2.3.1<\/p>\n<pre>[gollum]# rvm install ruby-2.3.1<\/pre>\n<p>To verify everything is done correctly, use the command <code>ruby --version<\/code>.<br \/>\nThe output should be similar to the following:<\/p>\n<pre>[gollum]# ruby --version\r\nruby 2.3.1p112 (2016-04-26 revision 54768) [x86_64-linux]<\/pre>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"5-Install-Gollum\"><\/span>5. Install Gollum<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>We will install Gollum and Puma via RubyGems using the following command:<\/p>\n<pre>[gollum]# gem install --no-ri --no-rdoc gollum puma<\/pre>\n<p>Create a new, local git repository:<\/p>\n<pre>[gollum]# git init ~\/gitrepo<\/pre>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"6-Create-a-systemd-service\"><\/span>6. Create a systemd service<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>To create a new systemd service for Gollum, open your editor of choice and create a new file:<\/p>\n<pre>[user]$ sudo nano \/etc\/systemd\/system\/gollum.service<\/pre>\n<p>and add the following lines:<\/p>\n<pre>[Unit]\r\nDescription=gollum service\r\nAfter=syslog.target\r\nAfter=network.target\r\n\r\n[Service]\r\nUser=gollum\r\nExecStart=\/opt\/gollum\/.rvm\/wrappers\/ruby-2.3.1\/gollum --live-preview \/opt\/gollum\/gitrepo\r\nRestart=on-abort\r\n\r\n[Install]\r\nWantedBy=multi-user.target\r\n<\/pre>\n<p>Start the Gollum server and set it to start automatically on boot:<\/p>\n<pre>[user]$ sudo systemctl enable gollum.service\r\n[user]$ sudo systemctl start gollum.service<\/pre>\n<p>To verify the unit started, run <code>systemctl status gollum.service<\/code> and you should see something like below:<\/p>\n<pre>\u25cf gollum.service\r\n   Loaded: loaded (\/etc\/systemd\/system\/gollum.service; enabled; vendor preset: enabled)\r\n   Active: active (running) since Wed 2016-09-21 06:00:34 UTC; 7s ago\r\n Main PID: 10737 (ruby)\r\n   CGroup: \/system.slice\/gollum.service\r\n           \u2514\u250010737 puma 3.6.0 (tcp:\/\/0.0.0.0:4567) [\/]<\/pre>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"7-Install-and-configure-Nginx\"><\/span>7.
